Lokmanya-Ek Yugpurush's premiere on TV

Om Raut directed Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush, a biopic on great freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak will be aired on TV on Independence Day.
The film was a commercial success and won hearts of the critics as well. Talented actor Subodh Bhave has portrayed the title character and Sameer Vidwans, Angad Mhaskar, are Priya Bapat are also among the cast. This is Om's directorial debut venture and was released early 2015.

The film's story unfolds through the eyes of a journalist played by Chinmay Mandlekar as he reads through a book on Tilak's life. Lokmanya Tilak was many things but above all he was a visionary whose ideas inspired thousands of youngsters to join the freedom struggle.
