Star Sports, the official broadcaster for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and the leading sports network in India, is reinforcing its commitment of bringing fans closer to the sport and its heroes, through a tour of the World Cup trophy in India. Also, its #wontgiveitback campaign for the upcoming ICC Cricket World 2015, pledged by Lowe Lintas + Partners, reflects the sentiment among the young Indian cricket fans and perfectly captures their mood as the Men in Blue prepare to fend off 13 other teams and defend their title.

Star Group had bagged the largest global cricket broadcast contract from International Cricket Council (ICC) last year. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is the first major ICC event to be telecast by STAR after signing the contract that includes rights to broadcast 18 ICC tournaments including two ICC Cricket World Cups (2019 and 2023), two ICC Champions Trophy tournaments (2017 and 2021) and two ICC World Twenty20 tournaments (2016 and 2020).
