During lockdown many channels kept their shows going by airing content shot by the

themselves from the confines of their homes.

Raw footage

shot on phones and SLRs is sent to editors to create the final product. Though some of the shots are

with a static camera and basic lights, in most cases the actors need at least one person to come to their rescue.

, a software engineer who is helping Annwesha with the camera work, says, “Initially, I wasn’t convinced. But as we started working, I grew interest in cinematography. After overcoming the initial glitches, we’re doing a decent job now. I even came up with many creative solutions to take new shots. Now I feel more excited than Annwesha to see my work on screen.”
