Legendary actress Vanisri, who once ruled the roost in South Indian cinema, is all set to make her Telugu TV debut with ‘
Prem Nagar
’. The family drama shall premiere on July 15 (Monday), reports suggest.
The yesteryear actress can be seen playing the role of
Rajyalakshmi
Devi, the head of the family, in this yet-to-be-launched show. The show deals with Rajyalakshmi’s conflicts with her son and other family members. The first teasers of the show are out and they are absolutely promising. Vanisri looks regal and dynamic in the promos.
The show also features talented actors like Kaushik,
Bharani and others in pivotal roles. Prem Nagar is likely to be launched as a replacement of Na Peru Meenakshi. However, an official confirmation on this is still awaited.
Fans, on the other hand, are eagerly waiting for the comeback of the most revered actor. Vanisri was last seen in the 2004 film Bhadradri Ramudu.
Prem Nagar shall air on weekdays at 6.30PM.
