Vinay Sindya recreates Vivek Oberoi’s iconic Saathiya train-scene look in a new photoshoot
Actor Vinay Sindya has caught attention with his latest photoshoot set inside a train, recreating the nostalgic charm of a memorable Bollywood moment. The actor revealed that his look and the concept of the shoot were inspired by Vivek Oberoi from the iconic train sequence in Saathiya, where his character proposes to Rani Mukerji.
For the shoot, Vinay not only recreated the train setting but also drew inspiration from Vivek Oberoi’s styling in that scene. The actor is seen wearing a similar outfit, a casual white T-shirt layered with a green shirt and paired with dark trousers, mirroring the effortless and youthful look from the film. The styling, along with the train backdrop, gives the visuals a nostalgic cinematic feel.
Speaking about the concept, Vinay shared that the train proposal scene from Saathiya has always been one of his favourites. “That scene has such a natural and romantic vibe. Vivek Oberoi’s look in that moment was simple yet very memorable. I wanted to recreate that mood through this photoshoot,” he said.
The photos capture Vinay in different candid poses across the train coach, holding the overhead handles, sitting casually on the seat and leaning against the compartment wall, all echoing the everyday realism that made the original scene so iconic.
On the work front, Vinay was last seen on television in the daily soap Oorvasivo Rakshasivo. After his stint on the show, the actor has been exploring new storytelling formats and is currently looking at opportunities in the growing micro-series space.
With this photoshoot, Vinay Sindya blends cinematic nostalgia with contemporary styling, paying tribute to one of Bollywood’s most memorable train moments while bringing his own charm to the frame.
