The show revolves around Raghuram, the owner of a departmental store owner, and his family. The show manages to perform consistently on the TRP charts often securing a position in top 5 daily soaps.
This lockdown hasn’t kept away the actors of the show from connecting with fans. They have teamed up to create awareness on
Covid-19
and the importance of staying indoors during this testing time.
The lead actors including Prabhakar, Sujitha, Priyanka Naidu, Rajesh Datta, Raj, Mahi Shivan and Ganesh Reddy have shot for a Covid-19 awareness video wherein they appear as their respective on-screen characters.
While Raghuram (Prabhakar), Sujitha (Sita) ask Laxman (Rajesh) and Bharat (Raj) to deliver essential groceries to their customers and not demand payment, they also advise Nani (Ganesh) to act responsibly by strictly staying indoors during the lockdown.
Vadinamma is the Telugu remake of popular Tamil mega serial Pandyan Stores. While Stalin plays the male lead, Sujitha Dhanush essays the female lead in the Tamil original as well.
