I warned my TV crew; none took me seriously

My sister in the US started warning me 2-3 months before the Covid-19 pandemic hit our country. I used to ask the crew of my TV shows to stop shooting but none took me seriously. I used to even argue with a few people about the gravity of the situation. They made fun of me then, now they are putting statuses about Covid-19 all over their social media handles.

I wash the groceries in saltwater

I’m someone who is very particular about hygiene and cleanliness. I’m dipping packets of groceries and other essential commodities in saltwater and sanitizers before using. I can’t believe how careless some people are even now.

My mom watches a lot of news and gets paranoid

I’ve stopped watching news and reading about Covid-19. Watching too much news can affect you. My mom watches a lot of news and gets paranoid. She is extremely worried about me and my sister in the US also.

This is not about a religion or a country

I believe we should be more worried about staying united in this fight against the pandemic instead of indulging in blame games and spewing hate against a community or a country.

I don’t understand why some people are frustrated about lockdown

Now I have all the time in the world to spend with my family and I’m making use of it. I don’t understand why some people are frustrated about this lockdown. This is the best time you can spend on yourselves and everything you ever wanted to do. Now you can’t complain that you don’t have time.

My lockdown routine…

I got my oven back and I’m baking, cooking and preparing everything I crave for. My sleep routine is disturbed a bit but I’m someone who can sleep for 10-12 hours straight. I’m working out for 3-4 days in a week for some 30-45 minutes. Of course, I’m pushing myself a lot for that (laughs).

Watching those poor things happy is the best experience

In the evenings, my brother and I go out to feed the strays and the poor things come to us jumping. Watching them happy is the best experience.

I’m scared TV shoots will resume soon

We just have to be more patient during testing times like these. It is a matter of a few months and this phase will pass. At some corner of my heart, I’m scared that the TV shoots will resume soon (laughs).
