Telugu Indian Idol 2 to stream from March 3; here's a look at the first episode's promo

Telugu Indian Idol 2, the second season of the exclusive OTT edition, is all set to entertain fans. The makers of the show have confirmed that season 2 will premiere on March 3 and will entertain on weekends at 7PM.
The teaser of the first episode is already out and it is all about the auditions for the show. The video shows some fine and promising talent that are gearing up to entertain and hog limelight this season.From a mother of a daughter trying to fulfill her singing dreams with the suport of her husband to the son of a drummer from the show's orchestra team, this season has a versatile and promising contestants who wish to make it big. The teaser video has Thaman getting emotional missing his father while interacting with a contestant while Geetha Madhuri giving a contestant Rs. 500 and offering him a chance for a show. The upcoming episode is likely to feature many such hearttugging stories.
Interestingly, it remains to be seen who will make it into the top 12 in the upcoming episodes.

To the unaware, Telugu Indian Idol 2 is being hosted by Hemachandra. The debut season was hosted by Sreeramachandra, who was indeed the winner of season 5. There is one more interesting change in the judging panel. Famed playback singer Geetha Madhuri has replaced actress Nitya Menen as a judge. She is making her debut as a reality show judge with Telugu Indian Idol 2. Besides, popular playback singer-composer Karthik is yet another judge on the show.
The makers of Telugu Indian Idol are leaving no stone unturned to promote the show. A grand musical evening was recently organised in ace composer and SS Thaman's hometown Nellore on Thursday. In the event hosted by Bhargav and Sravanthi Chokarapu, BVS Vagdevi, the winner of Telugu Indian Idol season 1, who also hails from Nellore, has delivered a stellar performance along with host Hemachandra, Geetha Madhuri and Thaman.
