Shobha Shetty is popular for her performance as Monitha, who ruins Karthik and Deepa's marriage, out of lust for him. She is currently leaving no stone unturned to prove that Deepa had an illicit affair with Vihari. Monitha has recently met a lawyer and requested her to help her prove the same in the court as well. She had manipulated Karthik into believing the same and broke his marriage. Deepa, on the other hand, is after Monitha's life to gain more evidence in her favour. She will learn that Monitha got Hima, Karthik's love interest during college, killed many years ago. Monitha's next move in the show remains to be seen.
