Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu Championship to premiere on January 29

The popular reality TV series is going to return with a brand new season very soon.

Titled 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu Championship', the new season will be launched on a leading General Entertainment Channel (GEC). Latest reports confirm that the upcoming 15th edition of the reality TV series will premiere on January 29 (Sunday).

The first schedule of the season was shot in the first week of January. Interestingly, the soon-to-be-launched season has some note-worthy changes. Pradeep Machiraju has stepped into the shoes of his popular colleague Sreemukhi for this season. She is currently hosting the dance reality show 'BB Jodi' on yet another General Entertainment Channel (GEC). Prominent music composer Koti, who has been associated with TV series for a very long time now and pop singer Smitha, who made her Telugu TV comeback with the previous season of the show, will not be a part of the forthcoming 15th edition of the TV series. However, eminent singer and TV judge Mano will join the judging panel for this season which will retain SP Sailaja and Anantha Sreeram as the other two judges.

On the other hand, former mentors Revanth, who was recently crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu season 6, and Geetha Madhuri are expected to be away from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Championship. The recently released anthem video featuring Sreekrishna, Saketh and Arun as the mentors also confirms the same. The video also shows former winner Yesaswi Kondepudi and ex-contestants others as well.

The 14th edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu which concluded in August, 2022, crowned Shruthika Samudrala as the winner of the season. She has lifted the prestigious trophy and received a prize money of Rs. 1 lakh and a car as well. Shruthika, who is an Arts Graduate, wants to pursue higher education and a career in playback singing as well. She has even crooned for a song in a Manisharma's album too. The previous seasons of the show had Yesaswi Kondepudi and Renu Kumar as the winners. While Yesaswi went on to sing in films, Renu has participated in the debut season of Telugu Indian Idol as well.
