Vadinamma is the Telugu remake of popular Tamil mega serial
Pandyan Stores
featuring Stalin and Sujitha in the leads. Actress Sujitha is playing the female in the Telugu remake as well.
The plot revolves Raghu Ram, a departmental store owner, his wife Seetha Mahalakshmi and four younger brothers. Raghuram’s wife sacrifices her motherhood for and treats Raghu Ram’s brothers as her own children. She even seeks a promise from Raghu Ram that he will never reveal the same to his brothers.
The channel airing the show has confirmed the premiere with a promo a short while ago in which the neighbourhood lauding the enviable bonding in Raghu Ram’s family. However, one of the neighbours points out that their bonding will have to go through the test of time once the younger brothers are also married. While Raghu Ram’s wife looks worried, he stands by his wife.
In the show, Prabhakar, of
Yahoo and
Muddu Bidda
fame, is seen playing Raghu Ram while Sujitha is reprising her role from the original.
Vadinamma is scheduled for telecast in the afternoon slot.
