Popular comedy show 'Adirindhi' hosted by
Ravi and Bhanu Sri is most likely to go off-air very soon, as per sources.
The comedy show, which was launched in December, 2019, is expected to conclude by the third week of this September after airing three more episodes. Latest reports also reveal that a new non-fiction show will replace Adirindhi in the slot.
Further details about the new show are awaited at the moment.
Adirndhi was initially hosted by Sameera Sherief and judged by Nagababu Konidela. This was the first show of Nagababu after he quit Jabardasth due to personal reasons. However, Sameera was eventually replaced by Ravi and Bhanusri. Actor
Navdeep joined the show as a co-judge later. This show marked his TV comeback as well.
Talking to ETimes-TV about the same, Navdeep said, "I haven’t planned this, too. I’ve always kept taking good work that came my way. Adirindhi is by far my easiest job and something I love the most. You have to sit back and enjoy some exceptional sketches and performances.”
Nithin-Bharat, the director duo, who directed the popular comedy show Jabardasth in the past, launched Adirindhi and Local Gangs in the rival General Entertainment Channel (GEC). Local Gangs hosted by Pradeep Machiraju went off-air very recently.
