'Khakee' stars Karthi and Rakul Preet on Pradeep Machiraju's 'Konchem Touch Lo Unte Chepta'

On Sunday, it was ‘Khakee’ stars Karthi and Rakul Preet were the guests on Pradeep Machiraju’s talk show ‘Konchem Touch Lo Unte Chepta’.
In the promo it can be seen that after Karthi walks onto the set, dressed in a simple outfit of white shirt and jeans, and Pradeep engages him in a conversation in Karthi’s native tongue, Tamil. On screen are shown beautiful memories of Karthi’s past, including black and white pictures of him in drama get up with presumably his grandmother.And Karthi jokingly says, “What people need to know here is that in that play, I was playing the lead character and my brother (Suriya) was playing the guest role,” making the audience and Pradeep laugh.
Later, Karthi is joined by Rakul in a black printed dress. Pradeep asks Karthi to tell a dialogue of Raviteja’s hit film ‘Vikramarkudu’ in Tamil and that he will connect the same in Telugu. Karthi rattles off a dialogue in Tamil and the audience claps. Later, Karthi and Rakul have an art session where they draw some ‘modern art’.
When Pradeep asks Karthi whom he has a crush on other than his sister-in-law Jyothika, he says that he used to love Gauthami when he was in school. And Pradeep says something cryptic, “Who? Like your gold fish Amala garu?” and Karthi answers with, “Who even told you this?”
Rakul plays a game of dumb charades, but when Pradeep doesn’t get what she’s saying, she says in Telugu, “It’s really hard to explain things to someone with no brain.” And Karthi agrees!
Rakul Preet and Karthi starrer ‘Khakee’ had released on November 17 in both Tamil and Telugu and has received good reviews from audience and critics alike. In the film, Karthi plays the role of DSP Dheeraj who takes up the task of finding a ruthless group of bandits that are terrorising people.
