Hima
questions Murali Krishna and Shravya about Deepa’s husband and her struggles without the support of their family. Her questions leave Murali Krishna in tears. He walks away without answering. Shravya tells Hima, they thought she was aware that
Deepa was her (Shravya) sister and they had no intention of hiding it from her.
Deepa participates in the ritual organized to bless Shravya and the newborn baby boy. Hima tries to talk to Deepa but Murali Krishna keeps diverting her attention.
Elsewhere, Monitha shares her worries with her house help Priyamani. She fears that Deepa, Soundarya and the entire family have ganged up and her future with
Karthik is now questionable.
Deepa plans to change her saree so that
Sourya
will not know about her visit to Shravya. But Sourya arrives just then and questions Deepa about the same. Unable to answer Sourya’s questions, Deepa gives her a strong retort. She reprimands Sourya for shooting questions beyond her age and concern. Sourya is left speechless by Deepa’s retaliation.
At home, Hima tries to tell Karthik about Deepa’s connection with their family. But Karthik doesn’t encourage the conversation.
The next morning, Sourya and Deepa set out to the shop to buy a dress for Shravya’s baby boy.
