Post-lockdown, Telugu TV has witnessed many changes and popular non-fiction show Bathuku Jatka Bandi isn’t an exception.
Eminent actress-filmmaker Jeevitha Rajasekhar will soon host the show which aims to provide a platform for estranged couples and family members to sort out their conflicts. Jeevitha will replace actress-TV judge Roja Selvamani as the host of the show.
Jeevitha succeeded
Sumalatha as the host of the talk show from its second season in 2015. Later, yesteryear actress Geetha and Roja Selvamani subsequently stepped into the shoes of Jeevitha but their stint as the host was short-lived. Close sources reveal that Roja is currently unavailable for shoot due to personal reasons.
Sumalatha recently announced that she tested positive for
Coronavirus while Roja’s personal security personnel also tested COVID-19 positive and she had to go under self-isolation.
Bathuku Jatka Bandi was popular for its controversial content and Jeevitha has left a lasting impact on the show. In 2016, a case was also registered against Jeevitha for allegedly intimidating a participant of the show.
