The makers of Guppedantha Manasu are taking the drama a notch higher. While all looks well in Rishi and Vasudhara's paradise, the latter's decision will spark a new row.
In the upcoming episode, Vasudhara will refuse to drape the ancestral saree that Rishi asks her. Vasudhara thinks it will imply that she has compromised on her 'Guru Dakshina' resolution. She will stand firmly on her ground and make Dharani wear the saree. This will leave Rishi feeling dejected and irks Jagathi. She will lash out at Vasudhara and even slaps her when the latter gives an explanation. This will spark a new row between Rishi and Jagathi. Devayani will try to exploit the situation. It remains to be seen how it will affect Rishi and Vasudhara's relationship.
For the unversed, Vasudhara wants Rishi to forget and accept Jagathi as his mother. But Rishi isn't ready to do so citing his childhood trauma. He asks Vasudhara to not force in this regard adding that he likes no clauses in their relationship. Vasudhara, on the other hand, doesn't want to compromise on this either.
Guppedantha Manasu has lost its apex spot on the TRP charts, according to the recent TRP report. Karthika Deepam is back to being the most watched Telugu TV show. Guppedantha Manasu has been giving Karthika Deepam a stiff competition for a while now with its consistent TRP ratings. Now, the makers are looking to redeem their spot on the TRP chart.
The show features Mukesh and Raksha in the lead roles of Rishi and Vasudhara respectively. While Jyothi Rai plays Jagathi, Sai Kiran Ram essays the role of Mahendra in the show. Both the on-screen couples enjoy a niche fan base on social media.
