It is quite a routine for celebs to quit their TV shows for their best interests and other reasons. Adding to this, there are instances when an actor or TV host is axed from a show for various reasons. Here’s a quick look at a few celebs who quit their TV shows midway.

Seasoned actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who made her Telugu TV debut with MasterChef Telugu Season 1, quit the show midway citing payment dues. She has recently resorted to taking legal action against the producer of the show Innovative Film Academy who recently allegedly accused her of unavailability and causing Rs. 5 crore loss.

Jabardasth was one of the most successful shows in the TV career of the popular actor-producer Naga Babu Konidela. He has opted out of the show in 2019 putting an end to his seven-years of association with the popular comedy show. He reportedly quit the show owing to differences with the producers of the show.

Ace choreographer-TV personality Sekhar Master, who was an inseparable part of the popular dance series Dhee, is missing from the ongoing season Dhee Kings vs Queens for a while now. He was allegedly axed from the show due to his appearance as a judge in the comedy show 'Comedy Stars' on a competitor TV channel.

The popular anchor-actress has quit her popular show 'Comedy Stars' recently. Though rumours were rife that she opted out of the show to participate in Bigg Boss Telugu season 5, she was not seen in the reality TV show either. As per sources close to the actress, she quit the show to focus on her upcoming release and her acting career in films.

The ace TV host took her fans by surprise by quitting Pataas season 2. It was initially rumoured that Sreemukhi had quit the show to take part in Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 but in an exclusive chat with TimesofIndia.com, she clarified that she had to call it quits due to reasons other than Bigg Boss.

Ravi, one of the most sought-after Telugu TV hosts, recently quit his show Happy Days and his popular TV series Pataas in the past, too. While Ravi quit Happy Days to take part in Bigg Boss Telugu season 5, he opted out of Pataas allegedly due to the differences with the makers of the show. Earlier, Ravi also quit Dhee Champions which eventually led to the entry of Hyper Aadi.

Popular TV actress Sameera Sherief, who made her debut as a host with the comedy show Adirindhi, was reportedly axed from the show. In an exclusive chat with TimesofIndia.com, Sameera stated that it could be the collective decision of the production house and channel airing the show to replace her from the show. Moreover, Sameera claims she wasn’t told the reason behind her replacement, too.

Bhanu Sri, who shot to fame with Bigg Boss Telugu season 2, soon appeared on the dance reality show Dhee Jodi. However, she had to quit the show midway owing to her contract with the channel airing Bigg Boss Telugu.
