Samantha further disclosed in the same show that she was a diehard fan of actor Suriya. Adding that Kaakha Kaakha was her first Tamil film in theatres and she once shouted 'Suriya... I love you', standing in the first row when he came to her college one day. Notably, Samantha shared the screen with Suriya in the 2014 film Anjaan.

Samantha shared how she along with a few friends planned to see a pub for the first time and finally went to a pub by putting her friend's grandmother to sleep with a sleeping pill. In the same show, Samantha revealed that she fell for Naga Chaitanya while shooting for Yem Maaya Chesave. She found Chaitanya very good looking, respectable, grounded and comforting despite being a star kid. Samantha added that they have become good friends during the shoot which led to marriage over the years.

When host Jr NTR asked Samantha about her interest in quiz apps in his show Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, the latter revealed that she was once very interested in them but of late she is more into calming apps, thereby indirectly referring to her separation from husband Naga Chaitanya as well.

Samantha revealed her interest and investment in hydroponic farming, which she inculcated during the lockdown last year. She spoke about the benefits of the special farming technique without soil and how she invested in a firm focused on the same.

When quizzed about life and her equation with Naga Chaitanya post-separation in Koffee With Karan 7, the former BB Telugu guest host replied, "It has been hard but it is good now, fine. I'm stronger than ever before."

When asked if she still has hard feelings, Samantha said, "If you ask if you have to put us in a room and hide sharp objects, as of now, yes."

She confirmed that it is not an 'amicable' situation right now. "Hmmm.. not right now, but may be sometime in the future, yeah."
