Samantha has revealed in her recent social media post that she has been diagnosed with Myositis. Ever since she shared a post with a picture of herself from the hospital bed gesturing love, wishes, and messages praying for her speedy recovery are pouring in for the actress.

Samantha has opened up about suffering from Myositis for the first time in her recent Instagram post. In a lengthy note, Samantha wrote, "Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery

When quizzed about life and her equation with Naga Chaitanya post-separation, Samantha replied, "It has been hard but it is good now, fine. I'm stronger than ever before."

When asked if she still has hard feelings, Samantha said, "If you ask if you have to put us in a room and hide sharp objects, as of now, yes."

She confirmed that it is not an 'amicable' situation right now. "Hmmm.. not right now, but may be sometime in the future, yeah."

Talking about being vocal about her separation and how it led to trolling on social media, Samantha said, "I couldn't really complain about it because I chose that path. I chose to be transparent, to reveal a lot of my life. When the separation happened, I couldn't be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers."

Samantha opened up about her struggle with mental health issues as she spoke about the importance of mental health at the 'Psychiatry at your doorstep' initiative by an organization. Being in the spotlight for issues in her personal life, Samantha shared how she has handled them with the help of friends and some professional help. She said, "There should be no inhibitions about seeking help when you are mentally disturbed. In my case, I was able to overcome my mental health issues only with the help of my counselors and friends."

Samantha also opened up on trolling in one of her recent interactions with Hyderabad Times. Talking about how she is dealing with it, Samantha said, “I remember, the first time when I wore something revealing after marriage, I was trolled terribly and it was very, very hard. But I noticed that when I did it the second time, it was not so bad. It’s all about taking that first step. I’m not going to say that I did something brave. I was scared of the repercussions and of the trolling. But at the same time, I told myself that things have to change and I’m going to do as much as I can to be a part of that change.”

Talking about Naga Chaitanya being a privy person, Samantha stated that he seldom lets her post pictures with him while she likes to express through Instagram. Naga Chaitanya was pleasantly surprised when Samantha made this statement.

Samantha is an ardent follower of Deepika and her work. Samantha has even confessed in one of her previous interviews that she likes to stalk Deepika as she is so flawless and often wonders if she (Deepika) is even human.

In Pradeep Machiraju's show, Samantha once revealed one of her most embarrassing memories ever. Samantha shared how she along with a few friends planned to see a pub for the first time and finally went to a pub by putting her friend's grandmother to sleep with a sleeping pill. Samantha also felt apologetic about the same while candidly recollecting the memory.
