Exclusive - Bigg Boss Telugu 4 finalist Ariyana Glory's sister Nayani: We don't believe in 'Lady Bigg Boss winner'; I want her to win as a contestant

is in top 5 of the reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu season 4.

Nayani

is as excited as Ariyana to see the latter winning the trophy. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Nayani pours her heart over Ariyana's BB stint, their struggle behind her journey and much more.

"We expected her in the finale. We were sure she would make it. So, we were not as shocked as she was in the show. Her following and graph increased after the Robots and Humans vs Demons task," Nayani says.

Commenting about the chances of Ariyana becoming the first female Bigg Boss winner, Nayani said, "I want her to win the trophy just as a contestant. There is no difference between a male and female contestant. Honestly, she could have used the card long back if at all she wanted to. I feel this 'lady Bigg Boss winner' is nothing but playing the woman card which we never endorsed."


Talking about the change in Ariyana, her proud sister said, "Ariyana's patience levels have certainly increased. She's more understanding now. I didn't know she could handle this stress before and stand by her people like she did for Avinash. I was in fact blown away by the way she motivated and supported Avinash when he needed the most. She has always been supportive of the family but at that moment, I so wished I was Ariyana's friend than a sister."

Nayanai further shared her challenges in campaigning for Ariyana on social media. "This was completely new for me. Maintaining these social media pages was tough indeed but staying sane and positive amidst this negativity was the toughest. It was immense pressure. We need to be very careful before we post anything."


She adds, "Initially, I used to get affected by these negative comments and trolls especially whenever Ariyana cried in the show, there was a deluge of negative comments. Earlier, I was of the impression that the society was broadminded but now I realise there are still conservative, shallow-minded people who would lose common sense and everything and cross the line for just a TV show. Now, I've learnt to ignore them," shares Nayani.

Sharing her views on the role of social media campaigns, Nayani opined, "I don't believe social media posts alone will fetch us votes. She's got genuine fans and they will vote for her."
