Dhee Jodi written update, January 16, 2019: Sooraj and Mayuri emerge as the 'Best performers' of the festive special episode

Host Pradeep Machiraju started the Sankranthi special episode of Dhee Jodi by welcoming judges Priyamani, Sekhar Master and special celebrity guest Shamna Kasim aka Poorna.
Pradeep along with team leaders Sudigaali Sudheer and Rashmi Gautam entertained with their comical act.
Greeshma and Sukumar from Rashmi's team opened the first round with a romantic performance, soon after which, Sudheer and Rashmi danced together to the same song, leaving the viewers mesmerized with their onscreen chemistry.Sekhar Master applauded choreographer Sunil for his versatility. Priyamani and Poorna suggested the dancers work on their expressions. Pradeep and Poorna also entertained with their brief romantic performance.
Kanna and Keshavi from Sudheer's team followed next with an exhilarating performance. All the three judges were just awed by choreographer-cum-dancer Kanna's choreography and power moves.
Kanna and Keshavi's performance won the first round with all the three votes.
Sooraj and Mayuri from Rashmi's team set the dance floor ablaze with their outright entertaining performance. The judged heaped praises on choreographer Chaitanya for the entertainment.
Sashank and Rani from Sudheer's team performed to a special Sankranthi folk song. In conversation with choreographer Rahul, Sekhar Master reckoned that some floor moves could have been avoided and some dance finishing could have been better.
Sooraj and Mayuri were the clear winners of the second round.
Mohan and Abol from Rashmi's team performed next to a devotional fusion mix, that left the judges in awe. They expressed their love for the performance with their signature moves.
Rithik and Tanvi ended the third round with a power-packed performance to a mass number. Sekhar Master asked Rithik to work his folk style of dance.
Mohan and Aboli won the third round while Sooraj and Mayuri were rewarded with the 'Best Performer of the day' title.
