In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, Bigg Boss asked wild card contestant Divya Nikitha to rank the housemates between numbers 1 and 13. Later, he announces that the top seven housemates are eligible to be captaincy contenders. He asked Divya to select any five to compete in the captaincy task, and she could include herself as well.
Divya firstly selects herself, followed by Emmanuel, Tanuja,
Suman Shetty, and Bharani. When Rithu asked her the reason, Divya said, “While playing the
game, these people will think for a second before pushing me or physically hurting me while playing their game. And Sanjana and Demon Pavan were captains previously. They are also eligible, but I didn’t see any harmony in the house during their captaincy.”
The captaincy task is a “Sticky Balls” game, where the contenders will be inside a circle wearing jackets, and the housemates will throw sticky balls at them. Whoever has the most balls stuck to their vest gets eliminated. The game happened in several levels with Kalyan as the sanchalak (referee).
In the first round, Divya gets eliminated, followed by Suman Shetty in the second. From the third round, the contenders can take the balls stuck to them and stick them to their opponent. Tanuja gets eliminated in the third round. In the last round, Bigg Boss asks Bharani and Emmanuel to select two contestants each to support them, and only they can attack the opponent with the balls. Emmanuel chose Pavan and Srija, while Bharani selected Divya and Ramu.
After an intense battle, Emmanuel emerges as the third captain of the house.
