Kaushal Manda, who shot to fame with the reality TV series Bigg Boss Telugu season 2, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today (November 29).

Neelima met some key doyens of the party in New Delhi and officially joined the party. Kaushal took to his Instagram handle to share a few pictures and announce his foray into politics. In the pictures, he along with wife Neelima can be seen joining the party.
"I always want to be the person who does n't only reacts on every ongoing issue in the country but would always want to convert some great ideas into reality so as to tackle with it. Here I am joining BJP after getting motivated &inspired by Modi Ji's Vision. Thank u (sic)," reads his Instagram post.
However, Kaushal’s decision didn’t go well with a section of followers who criticized him for admiring
Pawan Kalyan, supporting another party before 2019 elections in Andhra Pradesh and joining another political party now.
Replying to a fan query, Kaushal clarified his move.
Kaushal Manda was recently back to his popular show Suryavamsham to play the baddie ‘Aadhi Shankar’, replacing the actor Veeren. Earlier, Kaushal played the role before he took part in Bigg Boss Telugu season 2. He emerged as the winner of the season hosted by Nani.
