Claim to fame: Bigg Boss Telugu season 2
Tejaswi Madivada, who started as a dance trainer, shot to fame with her supporting role in the 2013 Telugu movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. She was one of the most controversial and promising contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 hosted by
Nani. Despite the negativity she earned through the show, her devil-may-care attitude, aggressive game play, rivalry with Kaushal and sparkling on-screen chemistry with Samrat in the house made her one of the most vouched contestants of the season.
But the competent contestant could survive only for six weeks in the show.
"Well to me Bigg Boss just reiterated that TV is not reality and reality is not easy. And lastly nothing good in life comes easy. DOT. I feel both Bigg Boss and real life are similar in a lot of ways but any day real life is better because there is unlimited food and sleep and love from people that keeps you sane (chuckles)," Tejaswi told ETimes TV in her post eviction interaction.
Tejaswi later turned a host with The Great Telugu Laughter Challenge
which also marked the debut of ace comedian Brahmanandam as a judge. The season did not perform on the TRP charts as expected. After a brief hiatus, Tejaswi appeared as a team leader in the comedy show 'Local Gangs' which was hosted by
Pradeep Machiraju. Tejaswi was also a part of Lakshmi Manchu-hosted adventure reality show 'Heroes'.
Tejaswi got busy with her films and webseries besides extensive traveling.
On the personal front, Tejaswi was very close to her late mother. She reportedly distanced herself from her father and brother during her teens and strived hard to make a living and career in the film industry.
The former BB Telugu contestant is now expected to be back on Bigg Boss Non-Stop. It remains to be seen if Tejaswi can cast her magic yet again.
