Of late the Meghna Lokesh is seen as a mother of two in the show and the actress recently shared her thoughts over the same on Instagram. Reacting to criticism she has been receiving for playing a character above her age, Meghna wrote, “I’m completely okay to play different roles.. may it be a teenager girl or an elderly character, being an artists, it’s a responsibility to give justice to the story.. and o the character I’ve been playing. Iam getting messages that change over as a mother for my age is not food.. but there lies the beauty of being an actor, Break the stereotypes people! (sic)”
Meghna is playing the role of Manga and Nithya in the show which is currently dealing with Jai (VJ Sunny) trying to trace Abhiram and Divya, without the knowledge that they are Manga’s kids. Fresh episodes of the show were aired from June 22. Meghna has recently shared that she is going to play a new role named 'Janaki Devi' in the show.
The actors of the show are shooting amid
Corona
scare. While VJ Sunny is a resident of Hyderabad, Meghna flew down from Mysuru for the shoot. She is already missing hubby dearest Swaroop, her in-laws and family back in her hometown.
Kalyana Vaibhogam was launched in 2017 and the show enjoyed good viewership within no time. Meghna Lokesh was seen in a dual role in the show.
