Actor Sushant, who was recently seen playing a lead role in a webseries for an OTT platform, is now set to entertain fans on the small screen as well.
Unlike his rare TV appearances for the promotions of his films, Sushant will now be playing a brief cameo in the popular daily soap 'Suryakantham'. The latest teaser of 'Suryakantham' that surfaced online shows Sushant making a dashing entry into Surya's colony as a cop.
He will be spotted at his entertaining best while investigating a case. His banter with Surya and fun encounters are something fans can't afford to miss. It remains to be seen how Sushant will help Surya and solve the case.
Fans on social media are already excited about this upcoming episode that is set to air at 10PM on weekdays.
For the unversed, Sushant is none other than actor-producer-BB Telugu host Nagarjuna Akkineni's nephew. He made his acting debut a few years back and appeared in successful movies like Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo as well.
The show deals with the life of Surya, a tomboy who gets married to Chaitanya, a rich man adored by his three elder sisters. They don't approve of Surya though. Will Surya succeed in winning their hearts forms the crux of the show.
Suryakantham features Anusha Hegde, Prajwal PD, Sahithi, Prabhakar and others in pivotal roles.
Suryakantham, which was launched in July 2019, is an official remake of the Tamil serial 'Sathya', which is indeed the Tamil remake of Bengali serial 'Bokul Kotha'. Interestingly, Bokul Kotha is believed to be the Bengali remake of Odiya serial 'Sindhura Bindhu'.
