Watch: Actors Navin Kumar, Surendar, Amruth Kalam thank doctors, nurses, police on Labour Day

May Day, otherwise known as Labour Day or International Workers' Day is celebrated all over the world today. Due to havoc created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the May Day celebrations aren’t observed in a jubilant manner this year in most of the places.
Actors Navin Kumar, Surendar, Amruth Kalam, Arun Padmanabhan and others conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and others.
Actor Surendar, who features in the role of Suriya in the show Oviya wrote,

In his video message, Surendar remembered his assistant, lightman, workers on the sets and thanks them individually. He also thanks the doctors, police, nurses, sanitation workers and all those who try to protect everyone from Covid-19 virus.

In the video, Amruth Kalam says, the men in uniform in armed forces serve the nation without bothering about their life. Similarly, the healthcare workers, doctors, nurses and others put their life at risk and help the public during this Covid-19 crisis. He also remembers the hard work of the staff on the sets and thanks them on this day.

Navin Kumar, who features in the show Idhayathai Thirudadhey wrote, “உழைக்கும் மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் உழைப்பாளர் தின நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள் பிறந்த நாள் வாழ்த்துக்கள் தல #thala (Sic)”
In the video message, Navin Kumar thanked the essential services staff like doctors, nurses, police and others who serve us selflessly. Though they can’t be thanked enough, yet thanks them with gratitude.

Arun Padmanabhan, who essays the role of Tarun in Mangalya Dhosham also thanks all those people like doctors, nurses and others who help us to be safe.
