May Day, otherwise known as
Labour Day or International Workers' Day is celebrated all over the world today. Due to havoc created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the May Day celebrations aren’t observed in a jubilant manner this year in most of the places.

Actor Surendar, who features in the role of Suriya in the show Oviya wrote,

In the video, Amruth Kalam says, the men in uniform in armed forces serve the nation without bothering about their life. Similarly, the healthcare workers, doctors, nurses and others put their life at risk and help the public during this Covid-19 crisis. He also remembers the hard work of the staff on the sets and thanks them on this day.
