Get ready for an entertaining weekend with a promising action thriller film set to entertain on the small screen. The world television premiere of the movie ‘Thuppakki Munai’ is scheduled on February 26 at 2 PM.

The action thriller film stars Vikram Prabhu and Hansika as the lead roles and also has an ensemble cast including M. S. Bhaskar, RJ Sha, Ammu Abhirami, Aadukalam Naren, Bharath Reddy, Kalyani Natarajan, and Vincent Asokan in supporting roles. The film was written and directed by Dinesh Selvaraj, Music is composed by L.V. Muthu Ganesh while cinematography and editing are handled by Rasamathi and Bhuvan Srinivasan respectively.

The story plot is all about Birla Bose, an encounter officer. His mother is a doctor, who stays away from him, as she didn’t like her son’s profession. Even after his lady love Mythili decided to break up their relationship, Bose stays strong, as he is very much dedicated to his profession. A few years later, Bose gets a case to encounter a rape accused. It is Azad, a guy from North India, who was accused of raping and murdering a 15-year-old Manjal Nayagi. Before the encounter, a man meets Bose and speaks about Azad and the death of Manjal. What did he speak? Who is the real culprit? Did Bose get the right person? What happens to his love?

Talking about the film and its TV premiere, director Dinesh Selvaraj said, “Vikram Prabhu and Hansika are big stars in the industry and it was an exciting experience to direct them together. Both of them are fantastic actors and very grounded. I am glad that popular Tamil television is telecasting the film’s World Television Premiere and we look forward to the audiences having a great time.”
