Varshini Azra to replace Radhika Preethi in 'Poove Unakkaga'
Recently, actress Radhika Preethi left the popular TV show
Varshini Azra took to social media to announce her new role. On her Instagram account, the actress shared a picture of herself from the shooting sets and captioned it, "Poovarasi".
Meanwhile, Radhika Preethi left a note for her fans and followers regarding her walk-out. In the post, the actress wrote,
"With a heavy heart I would like to let you all know that I am Quitting Poove Unnakaga. I will forever be grateful for giving me this wonderful opportunity. Thanks to my production house.
I am forever thankful to all my fans for the constant love and support, without you guys I wouldn't have made it.
I know you guys are gonna be there for me in every step of my life, love you all and thank you once again.

Varshini Azra is well known for her roles in the Telugu series Shikaram and Thodi Kodallu. In Tamil, the actress made her debut in Agni Natchathiram. Later, she also acted in Sumangali, Deivam Thandha Veedu.
The show's plot revolves around Keerthi and Poovarasi, two best friends who always share everything. Keerthi and Poovarasi both fall in love with Kadhir. He is in love with Keerthi. When Keerthi learns that Poovarasi also loves Kadhir, she sacrifices her love for her friend. Poovarasi does not know about this and marries Kadhir. The next day of her wedding night, she learns that her friends Keerthi and Kadhir were lovers, and Keerthi sacrificed her love for Poovarasi.
Having learned that, Poovarasi wants to reunite Kadhir with Keerthi, and hence she tries to apply for a divorce. The advocate asks them to remain united for a year. Meanwhile, Keerthi forgets her past life because of an accident. Poovarasi takes care of her and wants to reunite Keerthi and Kadhir when she regains her memory.
