Unnai Arindhal host Varalakshmi Sarathkumar celebrated her mother Chaya's birthday. Sharing the pictures on her social media handle, Varalakshmi wrote -
"Happy birthday to the one that brought me into this world.. thank u for teaching me how to be strong and voice ur opinion against whoever it may be if they were wrong...you were the first example of women empowerment that i saw..taught me how to stand on my own feet..thank you for being my side through ethin..I owe u my life ...Ioveeee u mummmyyyyy...muahhhhhhh..if I'm half the woman u r, I'll consider myself the luckiest woman alive..have a wonderful birthdayyyyyy... #mymummystongest (sic)."
In the pictures, Varalakshmi and her mother Chaya can be seen spending some quality time. Chaya got divorced from actor R. Sarathkumar in the year 2000.
On work front, Varalakshmi recently made her small screen debut with Unnai Arindhal, a reality show that discusses societal issues. She was also wished by her good friend Vishal, who also happens to host the TV show Naam Oruvar.
