Snekan is a renowned figure in the Tamil entertainment industry, known for his versatility as a lyricist, actor, and politician. He began his career in 1997 as a lyricist for the film Putham Puthu Poove, under the mentorship of legendary filmmaker K. Balachander and music composer S. A. Rajkumar. Over the years, he has penned over 3,000 songs for more than 500 films, collaborating with top composers like A. R. Rahman, Ilayaraja, and Harris Jayaraj.
