, who played Thulasi Rajapandi in the Tamil TV serial Vanathai Pola, is all set for a comeback in the upcoming serial 'Kannethire Thondrinal'.
Vanathai Pola is a popular Tamil daily soap. The serial received wide popularity among the audience for the brother-sister relationship. But the main leads, Swetha Khelge and
Thaman Kumar, quit the serial back to back, leaving fans in shock.
Vanathai Pola was launched in December 2021 and in a short span, the serial climbed to the top of the TRP charts. However, the series dropped from first spot to second place and the back-to-back exits of the main leads is also one of the main reasons, sources suggest.
It is now informed that Swetha Khelge will be playing as the main lead in the new serial 'Kannethire Thondrinal' teaming up with Malavika Avinash. Swetha plays as a village belle, who is a biological daughter of
Malavika Avinash but has been raised by her security guard, Rathinam, without her knowledge.
This serial also marks Malavika Avinash's return to Tamil television.The actress was last seen in the soap
Kaatrukenna Veli
as Saradha, later replaced by
Sudha Chandran.
On the movie front, the actress starred in movies like Kaithi, Rudra Thandavam, Enemy and K.G.F: Chapter 2.
