In the latest episode of
Survivor Tamil
, the members of both tribes were asked to choose the weakest link from their group. This activity was to nominate the weakest member of their choice. The tribe leader was allowed to participate in the discussion, but not in the voting process.
The members express their opinions after having a discussion in groups. Finally, they cast their votes to nominate the weakest member.
The tribe leaders were given a secret advantage (stealer reward). According to the reward, the leaders were granted a special power to pick one item for themselves from the rewards won by the opponent team in the next three reward challenges.
Tribe leaders
Lakshmi Priyaa
Chandramouli and
Gayathri Reddy
were instructed to meet the host
Arjun. The host gave a tricky situation and asked both the tribe leaders to select the weakest member.
Later, Arjun invited all the members and read out the names of the members who were voted for elimination. From the Kadargal tribe,
Indraja Shankar and
Ram C
got the maximum votes. From the Vedargal tribe,
Srushti Dange and
VJ Parvathy
are selected as the weakest members on the basis of votes.
As it is the 25th wedding anniversary of
Besant Ravi
and R. Prabhavathy Arjun wished the couple. Later, Arjun asked Ravi to share a message for his wife.
Finally, Arjun shared that the tribe leaders have also cast their vote and the elimination will be done on that basis. Gayathri picked Indraja and Lakshmi picked Srushti as the weakest members. Arjun announced that they have been eliminated from the game. The boat came and took them away.
There was another surprise in store for everyone. Indraja and Srushti were taken to a separate island, which was shown as the Moondram Ulagam (the third world). They both got a notification that “the game is not over yet”. This implies that they would be made to stay on that island for now.
