Shamili Sukumar confirms quitting 'Roja' due to pregnancy

Actress Shamili Sukumar is quitting her popular TV show Roja. She confirmed the same when she had an interaction with her fans on her video sharing platform. Shamili essayed the dual role of Priya and Anu in the show. The actress revealed that she is quitting the show due to her pregnancy.
Shamili Sukumar announced the good news on Mother’s Day (May 9). Shamili and her hubby dearest Rajkumar are excited about embracing parenthood very soon.
Shamili captioned the video: “Why I’m leaving / roja serial | (Anu) (priya) | roja serial Tamil… (sic)”
In her interaction session, Shamili explained that she wanted to put the growing rumours to rest with the video.
Adding that she had some fond memories about the show, the actress further assured to resume acting in the near future.

Shamili Sukumar is also popular for her performances in the shows Romapuri Pandian (as Princess Kalaivani), Vani Rani (as Tejaswini / Teju), Valli (as Shamili), Pasamalar (as Mallika) and Ponnunjal (as Revathi), to name a few.
