Senthil Kumar took to Instagram to share a series of throwback videos from his show
Saravanan Meenatchi
that features his wife Sreeja. The lovey-dovey couple played the lead roles of Saravanan and
Meenatchi
respectively in season one of the show.
He wrote, “Sreeja's most favourite scene from Saravanan Meenakshi.. we were lucky to be allowed to visit the famous
Chettinad house
(in the background), in between the shooting. It was a very memorable Day (sic)”
Senthil’s posts have left fans nostalgic. A section of netizens even requested for a re-telecast of the show during the lockdown.
Saravanan Meenatchi was one of the longest Tamil running serials with a successful run of over three seasons.
The first season of Saravanan Meenatchi featured Senthil and Sreeja was aired from November 7, 2011, to October 21, 2013, for more than 500 episodes. Senthil Kumar and
Sreeja Chandran got married on 2 July, 2014, after the conclusion of Saravanan Meenatchi season one.
On the work front, Senthil is currently seen in the show

in the dual role of Dr. Aravind and Maayan. Senthil is also popular for his appearances in shows like
