After entertaining the Tamil audience, TV show 'Raja Rani', is set to have its second season. The show will hit the TV screen today (October 12). The lead artists
Sidhu Sid and
Alya Manasa
are super excited about the new season. They took to their social media handle to share their excitement.
The second season will feature Sidhu Sid (as
Saravanan), Alya Manasa (as
Sandhya),
Praveena,
Sreenidhi Sudarshan
,
Ravi, Archana and many others. It is directed by Praveen Bennett.

According to the story, Sandhya (played by Alya Manasa) wants to become an IPS officer. Saravanan (Sidhu) is a simple and kind-hearted person but isn’t educated like Sandhya. Saravanan along with his mother (Praveena), brothers run a confectionary business.
Praveena (Saravanan’s mother) wants a less educated and simple daughter-in-law who can take care of the household. Sandhya gets married to Saravanan following a twist. Sandhya’s qualification isn't known to Praveena prior to the marriage. What happens to Sandhya's dreams, whether she gets the support of her husband, make the crux of the story.
Raja Rani (season 1), which featured Alya and Sanjeev in the lead roles, was a huge hit.
