Radikaa Sarathkumar has recently announced that she is quitting acting for TV. She has taken to her social networking handle to reveal her reasons behind quitting TV besides thanking fans for the love.
Radhika captioned the video: “To all my fans and well wishers! Thank you thank you (sic)”
In the video, Radikaa stated that she lost interest in TV after Vani Rani and felt exploring and experimenting more on cinema and OTT.
She further added that she needs to work on rebuilding her production house that has taken a hit due to the pandemic and also concentrate on social service and contributing to her husband’s Sarath Kumar’s political party as well.
Her good friend Khushbu Sundar wrote, “You surely will be missed Rads. Good luck in all your future endeavors (sic)”
Recently, Radikaa Sarathkumar shared pictures from the last day of Chithi 2 shoot and announced her decision to quit acting for TV. However, she is expected to continue producing TV shows.
Radikaa was last seen playing the role of Saradha in Chithi 2.
Radikaa is a very popular face on TV.
Radikaa entertained fans with performances in shows Arasi (as Senthamizharasi), Chellamay, Penn, Chithi (as Saradha), Annamalai (in titular role), Chandrakumari (as Chandrakumari) and Vani Rani (as Vani/Rani), to name a few. Besides acting and TV production, Radikaa has hosted shows like Kodeeswari, Thangavettai and Bangaram Mee Kosam and co-judged the show Jodi Number One.
