Popular daily soap Ilakkiya, which is known for its interesting storyline and adroit star cast, has accomplished another milestone. The popular daily soap has completed 200 episodes. Wishes have been pouring in for the team from fans on social media.
Director Saimaruthu is also excited. He said, "I am extremely happy for the Ilakkiya serial going to reach this 200 episodes; the complete 'journey' in the serial gave life to my career."
Ilakkiya premiered in October 2022. The series stars Hima Bindhu and Nandan Loganathan in the lead role. Bharath Kalyan, Gayathri Priya, Meena Vemuri, and Raani are in supporting roles.
The story is all about a bold and beautiful girl named, Ilakkiya. Under some un circumstances, she has to marry her friend Gautham. This TV serial narrates the problem faced by Ilakkiya in Gautham’s house and how she survives.
