A new reality TV show, titled
Super Queen
, will see popular television artistes coming together for several rounds of fun, games and chatter. Featuring popular actresses Asha Gowda, Vaishnavi, Aishwarya, Janani, Swathi, Tejaswini, Iraa, Lavanya, Ayesha, Parvathy, Kanmani Manohar, and Sreethu Krishnan, among others, this show will have these ‘queens’ fight it out for the coveted title.
Asha Gowda of Gokulathil Seethai fame adds, “I honestly don’t have too many friends here and I look at this as an opportunity to mingle with other artistes and strike up a friendship. And, of course, I love reality shows and being part of them. So, here I am!”
Survivor fame Aishwarya, too, is part of the show. While her stint during the adventure reality show had her eyeing the prize, Aishwarya says she wants to just enjoy her stint here to the fullest. “Even though this is my second time on a reality show, this one is completely different. In Survivor, I was a fresher, wanted to earn a name and win the show. This time, my strategy is to experience the fun side of such shows and enjoy to the fullest,” she smiles and adds, “Of course, I don’t know the other contestants here as well, but this time, being a newbie doesn’t intimidate me.”
Tejaswini Gowda, who plays the lead in Vidhya No. 1, is excited to be a part of her first reality show. “We all can act, but a show like this will bring out the hidden talents that are within us. So, I am excited to find out what I bring to the table. I am looking forward to this new journey,” she says.
The show will be hosted by
RJ Vijay and
Anandhi, and judged by actress Radha and actor Nakkhul.
Looking at giving my bestWe know each other through our serials. I meet them once a year during TV awards events, too. However, this show gives us all an opportunity to get to know each other personally. Like always, I am looking at giving my best and presenting a different side to my audiences. I am sure all the contestants are talented in their own way, but I don’t see them as my competitors. I want to play the game for myself.
