Popular comedy show Lollu Sabha to be re-telecast

Amid lockdown, most of the television channels have started to re-telecast their old successful serials and shows, since they haven't been able to shoot for the latest series on their channels.
While Doordarshan had first announced the return of Indian television’s most iconic television serial from the late 80s, popular Tamil channel Vijay Television has now officially announced that they will be re-telecasting the evergreen spoof comedy show Lollu Sabha.The show will be airing on 7:30 AM from Monday to Friday, starting from April 6.

The popular show had Santhanam, Swaminathan, Jeeva, Balaji, Manohar and Jangiri Madhumitha performing on the show that parodied several highly-appreciated films. The show had also featured the early appearances of actor Yogi Babu, who is currently the most sought-after comedy actors of Kollywood.
