With a better and more diverse TV lineup than ever before, Tamil television now has something extra to entertain. Adding to the lineup, a popular TV channel has planned to launch a brand new Tamil serial titled, 'Poova Thalaiya.'
The entertainment channel, that airs popular TV shows such as Ethirneechal, and Pandavar Illam Stores is gearing up to launch the daily soap, 'Poova Thalaiya'. As per close sources, Poova Thalaiya is a TV show that revolves around a small-town boy who falls in love with a city girl. However, a series of circumstances combined with her shyness keeps her from expressing feelings to him.
The TV serial stars Sithara, Latha Rao, and Suveta Shrimpton in the lead roles. And the other cast and crew are much awaited.
On the career front, Sithara is an Indian actress known for her works predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. She made her Tamil debut in 1989 with K. Balachander's Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal.[1] She is best known for her performances in super-hit films such as Padayappa, Halunda Tavaru, and Pudhu Vasantham. She is also known for her work in Television. The serial likes MounaRaagalu, Kavari Maangal, Parasakti, Tharam Katha, and Intinti Gruhalakshmi.
Latha Rao made her debut in the popular Tamil serial "Metti Oli' Following that, she acted in more than 30 TV serials in Tamil Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. She played negative roles in different TV shows including Rekkai Kattiya Manas. She also acted in Maruthani, Rajakumari, Thirumathi Selvam, Nilavai Pidippom, Meenakshi, Iruvar Ullam, and Kurinji Malar.
Fans are excited to see her on-screen playing a new role. The channel has revealed the title of the show, which will premiere soon.
On the other hand, the TV channels are ready to treat the audience with a high dose of entertainment ahead with upcoming shows, Pandian Store season 2, Nala Dhamayanthi, and Oo Solriya Oo Oohm Solriya season 2.
