Vanitha Vijaykumar's written complaint. In her statement, Vanitha accused Suriya Devi and producer Ravindran of cyberbullying. She further alleged, that her life is under threat because of Suriya Devi. Based on the complaint lodged by Vanitha on July 14, police has taken Suriya Devi into their custody and the investigation is still going on.
Interestingly, Suriya Devi had also filed a police complaint against Vanitha. All this started soon after

and Vanitha got married. On the next day of the wedding, Elizabeth Helen (Peter Paul’s estranged wife) filed a police complaint stating, she is still married to Peter and the couple has two children. Elizabeth alleged Peter got married to Vanitha without divorcing her. Vanitha - Peter's marriage became the talk of the town.

Kasthuri Shankar, producer Ravindran and Suriya Devi chose to support Elizabeth. They openly spoke against Vanitha and Peter. This led to a fight soon. Vanitha accused Suriya Devi of making some derogatory comment on their marriage. Vanitha allegedly fought with Kasthuri and Lakshmy on the social media platform and left Twitter.
Meanwhile, Vanitha also accused that Suriya Devi has been abusing her since quite some time which is affecting her mental wellness.
After Suriya Devi's arrest, Vanitha took to her social media handle and wrote- “Sattam than kadaimaiyei seiya vaipom.. (Sic)”
The translation of Vanitha’s message means, “Let’s permit law to perform it’s duty”
