Sridevi's last major film titled
Mom is to be aired on 11th March 2018 (Sunday). Sridevi was one of the most talented actresses of all times. She dies of accidental drowning on 24th Feb 2018.
As part of the weekend special and to mark International Women's Day, which was celebrated on March 8th, Sridevi's last film Mom is going to be aired this week on Sunday (11 March).
Mom is a 2017 Indian crime thriller film directed by
Ravi Udyawar. This was Produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain. Mom features Sridevi as a vigilante, who sets out to avenge her daughter (this role was played by Sajal Ali), Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin
Siddiqui
and others. Music for the film Mom was composed by A. R.
Rahman.
It is to be mentioned that, Mom is the Sridevi's 300th film, and it was her last film. This film Mom was released on 7 July 2017, in four languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu etc.
This film had received six nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, including Best Actress and Best Actress (Critics) for Sridevi and Best Supporting Actor for Siddiqui.
