Kabali and Aramm to air on television for Pongal

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is all set to have its premiere on television for Pongal. The gangster- drama will be aired on Sun TV. The plot revolves around the life of Kabaleeswaran, played by Rajinikanth. The star cast includes Winston Chao, Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan and John Vijay. The film is directed by Pa Ranjith and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.Kabali was predominantly shot in Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong. The song Neruppu Da…by Arunraja Kamaraj was a chartbuster for a long time.
In the meantime, the channel will also air Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s latest outing Aramm for Maattu Pongal. Aramm is directed by Gopi Nainar and features Nayanthara as a district collector. Ramesh and Vignesh of Kaaka Muttai fame play supporting roles in the film. Music for the film is by Ghibran. The story revolves around a child who gets trapped under an underground pit and the rescue operation that revolves around it. The satellite rights for both Kabali and Aramm were bagged by Sun TV. While Kabali released a year ago, Aramm hit screens only a month ago. Both films are sure to be a pleasant surprise for the fans of the actor.
