The Anbudan Kushi actress Surekha Sukumar doesn’t miss a chance to flaunt her culinary skills. But, she couldn’t enjoy one of her most favourite hobbies due to hectic schedules before lockdown. However, during this lockdown break, Surekha had all the time to unwind trying different recipes.

Actor Mahat Raghavendra of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 fame has recently learnt to make egg curry from his friend-actor Silambarasan aka Simbu. He impressed his wife Prachi with this dish. Sharing the making video of the recipe, Mahat wrote, “Showing my cooking skills to @mishraprachi

Shyam aka Shyam. R of Eeramaana Rojaave fame is in Chennai ever since TV shootings resumed a few weeks back. Currently, he and wife Sandhya Nambiar Shyam and family are at different places. Being a foodie, Shyam likes to savor different dishes. To fulfill his craving for good food, Shyam learnt cooking from Sandhiya. As she guides him over the video call, he prepares different dishes. He now makes various dishes like pizza, fish fry and other items.

Avalum Naanum actor Sanjay Saravanan is another actor who learnt cooking during the lockdown. Flaunting his Malaysian dish Nasi Lemak, the actor wrote, “Homemade Nasi Lemak during the lockdown period.

Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham actor Jai Akash started to cook as he had to stay alone in Chennai during the lockdown. He has now learnt to make prawn curry, fish curry and other dishes. Expressing his happiness over his new skill set, Jai wrote, “I live alone, so in this lock down, I have learned to cook my own food (sic)”.

Super Singer judge is a pro at cooking. He often makes special dishes like Chicken Stir-fry, Chicken Sausage Sandwich, Murgh Badami (Almond Gravy) and stuns wife Catherine Dayal with his special talent. He recently took guidance from his mom to make banana chips, too. Being a native from Kerala, he is already prepping up for Onam.
