Tamil TV industry boasts of many talented model-turned-actresses who are winners of many prestigious beauty pageants. Take a look at some of them.

Akshara Reddy is the proud winner of ‘Miss SuperGlobe - World’. She has won the title in a contest that was held last year in Dubai. On the TV front, Akshara took part in the reality show ‘Villa to Village’. She became the runner up of the season and has won titles like ‘All Rounder’ & ‘Beautiful Face’ in the reality show.

Actress Bavithra has made a mark for herself with her performance in the show ‘Nila’. Bavithra was crowned as ‘Miss South India’ in 2017. Interestingly, she was the only Tamil girl to win the title. She also impressed the telly audience with her stint in the reality show Soppana Sundari.

Iraa Agarwal emerged as the winner of ‘Miss South India’ contest held in Manappuram in 2014. She created history by becoming the first ever winner of the title ‘Miss Tamil Nadu’. She also won the sub title of ‘Ms Beautiful Eyes’. She was crowned by none other than former beauty queen Parvathy Omanakuttan. Iraa is also a trained boxer and an international champion. Currently, she is portraying the lead role of Thulasi in the show Rajamagal.

Actress Upasana RC is a famous actress on small screen and silver screen. Before turning a household name with the reality show ‘Villa to Village’, Upasana was winner of ‘Elite Miss India Asia’ pageant in 2015.
