The incident of

Smith

stood for his wife, even my husband Sundar. C would have reacted the same."

Will Smith recently walked onto the stage at the Dolby Theater in

Los Angeles

on Sunday evening and slapped comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife's shaved head. Notably, Jada Pinkett Smith has been suffering from alopecia. She was also seen speaking about her hair loss due to her medical condition, alopecia, publicly.

After hitting Rock, who was presenting the award ceremony, Smith returned to his seat and yelled profanity, which was censored from the US broadcast of the ceremony.

Reacting to this incident,

Khusboo

said, "I am against any kind of violence. But in this instance, in the name of comedy, a medical issue was approached insensitively. Talking about such things in a closed room is a different thing. But you are on a world platform and you cannot take somebody’s health issue and shame them in the name of a joke."

She also appreciated Will Smith for standing up. She said, "Will Smith was fierce and protective as a husband and a family member, I was happy at his reaction. My husband would have reacted the same way. If someone talks ill about me or my children in a public forum like this, That’s how my husband would react."

The actress also said, "When Will Smith apologised for his actions and walked out, there was a standing ovation for him. That shows what he did was right. And people agreed with what he did."

Earlier, Kushboo Sundar shared a picture on her social media account under the caption "#SayNoToViolence", where the actress was seen with a slap mark on her face on March 3. The picture left the fans in shock.
