Dhivyadharshini opens up about knee surgery and recovery journey; says 'New knee, new me'
Popular television host and actress Dhivyadharshini, affectionately known as DD, has shared an emotional update about her health and recovery journey with her fans. In a heartfelt Instagram post, DD revealed that she underwent a major knee surgery two months ago, marking her fourth knee surgery in the past ten years. This time, it was a total knee replacement on her right knee.
"The last 3 months have been trying times for me. 2 months ago I had a major surgery for my knee, yes I have done total knee replacement surgery, this is my 4th surgery in the past 10 years on my right knee," DD wrote. She expressed her hope that this would be the final surgery for her knee, acknowledging that the recovery process has been painful but showing signs of improvement.
DD’s message was filled with gratitude towards her fans and supporters, many of whom have empathized with her struggle and pain over the years. "I’m putting up this post for people who loved me onscreen, and have always supported me and empathized with my pain," she shared. "I’m still in wonder thinking what I’ve done to gain this unconditional love from all of you."

Special thanks were given to Dr. Suriyanarayanan, Dr. Clement, and Dr. Ashok, along with other medical professionals who played key roles in her treatment.
