Debjani Modak replaces Pavani Reddy in Rasathi

Actress Debjani Modak has replaced Pavani Reddy as the female lead in the popular daily soap Rasathi.
Debjani Modak is seen from the 101th episode. Debjani is making her Tamil TV debut with the show. She is known for her performance in soaps like Aponjon (as Antara).
Rasathi premiered on September 23, 2019. Pavani Reddy played the female lead of the show till the 100th episode. She has quit the show due to personal reasons, sources suggest. Pavani is popular for her performance in the serial Chinnathambi (as Nandhini).
Rasathi also features Devayani (as Ilavarasi Soundravalli), Aditya (as Rajadurai Pandian), Vichithra (as Chinthamani), Keerthi Jai Dhanush (as Kayal Shiva) and others in prominent roles.
B. Babusivan is directing the serial produced by A. Anburaja.
Actress Vichithra made her TV comeback with the show after a long hiatus. Rasathi also marks the TV debut of eminent comedian Senthil.
